It’s my pleasure to share this week’s episode.
I’m speaking with Linda Kwok, a holistic leadership coach who supports high-performing professionals in moving beyond the internal and external barriers that limit them—personally and professionally. She is especially effective with high performers because she is one herself.
Linda began her career in finance after graduating from NYU Stern School of Business. Over the years, she has worked across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, retail, medicine, insurance, technology, the creative arts, nonprofit management and education. She is also a dedicated mother and engaged member of her community.
Linda recognizes that we are more than our thinking minds. In her coaching, she helps clients integrate the intelligence of the mind with the body, heart and spirit. While we often try to think our way through challenges, this can be limiting. Her approach helps clients move beyond overthinking so they can access a broader range of inner resources and strength. To support this process, she incorporates modalities such as Reiki and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
Through this holistic approach, Linda creates space for clients to bring their full selves into the coaching process. As she notes in our conversation, work life and personal life are deeply interconnected. Her approach honors that interdependence, which allows what is truly holding a client back to come into clearer view.
Coaching is a modality for growth and transformation. While it draws on some tools from therapy, it is more goal-oriented and less focused on pathology. Through her own coaching journey, Linda confronted her inner critic, explored the roots of her unhappiness despite external success and began to live more fully in alignment with her authentic self.
You may be wondering how coaching fits into a series on personal energy. Working with a coach can restore a sense of clarity and renewal. It can also be an enjoyable and energizing experience — qualities that are often overlooked when working through challenges. Transformation can be… fun. What might become possible with the right coach by your side?
