Sheila Azad is an executive and personal coach who supports clients who want to perform at their best professionally and experience more joy and passion in their lives.
She is trained and certified as a coach by Coaching for Transformation, which is an International Coach Federation accredited coach training program offered through Leadership That Works.
Prior to becoming a coach, Sheila spent seven years practicing corporate law in prestigious corporate law firms in New York City. As an associate at Sidley Austin LLP, her practice focused on structured finance transactions. As an associate and then counsel at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP, her practice focused on the formation and operation of hedge funds and private equity funds.
Sheila has been committed to the spiritual journey and on the healer’s path for over thirteen years. She has trained in various healing modalities and worked as a reiki practitioner. Her knowledge base includes experience with archetypes, meditation, shamanic journeying and feminine spiritual practice. She has a passion for transformational work and grounds herself in wisdom teachings.
Sheila received her B.A. magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University and her J.D. from Fordham Law School.
Sheila loves massages, French manicures, candlelight, coffee in the morning, making her sister laugh, yin yoga and dancing. Growing up, her dream was to own a bakery, chocolate shop or bookstore.
